This policy explains what TotalCode stores, how local project sync works, and when optional hosted editor features are used.

Local synced project dataProject settings, synced local copies, and related workspace metadata are stored on the device or in locations chosen by the user. The app does not rely on advertising, analytics profiling, or third-party tracking SDKs.

Optional hosted editor featuresTotalCode can connect to Total.js Code and related hosted services only when the user explicitly opens or configures those project connections.

API and authentication dataIf the user adds API tokens or hosted credentials, they are used only for the requested product features and remain under the user's control.

Data retention and deletionLocal synced copies and project metadata remain in the locations chosen by the user until the user changes, moves, or deletes them. Optional hosted connections can be removed by the user inside the app.

Third-party servicesThe app can communicate with Total.js services or the configured editor endpoints only when the user explicitly enables those workflows. They are optional.

User controlUsers control whether a project is synced locally, where files are stored, when hosted features are used, and when credentials are added or removed.
